Description
Sol Ye is a China & US-based independent producer dedicated to producing the most original, boundary-pushing Asian stories. Her most recent feature documentary THE LAST YEAR OF DARKNESS was selected by IDFA and is now being released by MUBI. Her narrative feature SOME RAIN MUST FALL has won the Special Jury Award at the 2024 Berlinale Encounters Competition. Sol has produced 15 short films where some of them won awards at Cannes Critics' Week (SHE RUNS) and BFI London Film Festival.
